Reinforced Breastplate increases physical defense by 4. It's most useful application is the increased defense it provides against Rumiko's Shuriken Barrage; however, it is also useful against any multiplicative physical damage attack. Even though it can be very helpful, it is much less useful than herbal remedy.

- Andromeda - This will help her when she fights against Rumiko, but it isn't useful in any other matchups.
- Anex - This item isn't very useful in many of her matchups. Usually, Herbal Remedy saves more health than Reinforced Breastplate.
- Ashi - She already has 6 physical defense, so she doesn't benefit much from using Reinforced Breastplate.
- Helene - Like Ashi, she has high physical defense, so she benefits more from using other items.
- Phoebe - As Rumiko can only hit her once if Phoebe uses Rapid Lashes, there are far better choices than Reinforced Breastplate
