Me and the key is a puzzle game by Bart Bonte of bontegames. There are penguins and there are keys; use your mouse to find the keys.

Gameplay[]

The objective of each puzzle is to find the key. Most of the puzzles involve moving the cursor, clicking on things, and dragging things around. As the puzzles progress, they get trickier and quirkier.

Answers[]

Here are the level answers in numerical order:

1. Click the penguin in the middle of the screen, then click the key attached to the red necklace on the penguin.

2. Twenty-four orange balls will fall from the top of the screen. Click on them to pop them. The last ball you click will always contain the key no matter what. Click on the key to continue.

3. Seven penguins will show up on the screen. Click all of them (it doesn't matter which order). The last one you click will have the red necklace with the key. Click the key to move on.

4. A small tree is shown at the bottom of the screen. Click and hold the screen to grow the tree. Once it has grown at the maximum possible size, four orange balls will appear. Click them to make them fall on the floor, then click them again to pop them. Just like before, the last one you click will always contain the key. Click it to continue. (NOTE: You cannot click the orange balls unless all of them have fallen on the floor.)

5. This level has some logic to it. You will see a shelf with four moveable objects. There are two layers, so you will need to move them to find them. The key will always appear at the right most part of the shelf. Click it to continue. (NOTE: There is a slightly harder version of this level (Level 23).)

6. Play some Atari Breakout! Use your mouse to control the paddle at the bottom of the screen. There is a 6×4 array of bricks here. Click anywhere on the screen to begin the game. An orange ball will be bouncing around this time. Just like the original game, the ball bounces off of bricks. Once you've cleared a pathway of destroyed bricks for the ball to go through, aim it so that it goes for the key. If it touches the key, you're allowed to continue. (NOTE: There is a slightly harder version of this level (Level 13).) (NOTE: When you start the game, the ball always goes to the right instead of going to the left or in the middle.)

7. Five penguins will appear on the left side of the screen. Drag them away to reveal the fifth penguin hiding the key. The key is on the floor this time, and layered behind all of the penguins. Click it to carry on.

8. A rotating magenta-red bouncing ball with spots will appear in the middle of the screen. The ball will be bouncing around which makes it harder. Click on the spots to turn them white. Be careful: clicking a white spot will revert it back to what it was before. Once all the spots are white, the ball will turn white, then fade away. The key will drop from where the ball was. Click on it to continue.

9. This is a reaction game. You will see seven TVs, three are which on top of the bottom four. One TV will light up and have the penguin showing. Click it to stop it from disappearing again. If you're not fast enough, the penguin will disappear and you will have to wait for it again. Repeat the process for the other six TVs. The last one you click will have the red key necklace when you click it. As always click it to move on. (NOTE: There is a slightly harder version of this level (Level 22).)

10. A rope will appear on screen, with one end visible and the other end underneath the screen. Click and drag the visible end of the rope downwards, otherwise known as "pulling" it. Keep going until you see the key hanging onto the other end of the rope. Quickly click on it to advance to the next level. If you're not fast enough, the key will drop down and you will have to pull the rope again. (NOTE: There is a slightly harder version of this level (Level 20).)

11. This is probably the first easiest question. Type "key" on the keyboard to move on.

12. A small penguin, along with a huge orange ball will appear on the screen. Drag the penguin (either left or right, it doesn't matter) and make the ball rotate. You will see another penguin while rotating the ball, but ignore it. The penguin after it will have the red key necklace, and clicking it will allow you to move on. (NOTE: There are actually four penguins on the ball, three are which don't have the key necklace.)

13. A harder version of Level 6. This time the array has grown from 6×4 to 11×4. Instead of white bricks here, there are red bricks. These bricks require two hits to destroy (because they turn white when they're hit once). The array of bricks are also lowered, which is a major setback here. Just like before, the orange ball just needs to touch the key to move on. (NOTE: The ball gets progressively faster by each hit.) (NOTE: If you get lucky, you can glitch the ball into some of the bricks, resulting in mass destruction of the bricks)

14. The same tree you grew from Level 4 will appear again, this time copying the cursor's movements. Move your cursor across the screen left and right until the key is dropped from the middle of the screen. Click it to carry on.

15. Two penguins on the left and right of the screen are connected with an orange line. Hover your cursor over one of the penguins (again, it doesn't matter which one) and follow the orange line all the way through until you reach the other penguin. If the mouse at any time gets off of the orange line, the penguin's head will drop down, indicating the puzzle reset. Once you reach the other penguin, it will have the key necklace. Click the key to continue. (NOTE: There is a slightly harder version of this level (Level 24).)

16. An orange ball and the same tree will appear, not at the middle, but the top of the screen. Drag the ball to the very top of the screen and let it drop down to the ground to lower everything into view. The key will be at the top of the tree. Click it to move on.

17. Four grey balls will be bouncing around the screen. Click them to turn them white. If a white ball touches a grey ball, the white ball will turn grey. Once all the balls are white, none of them can turn grey. The key will drop from the middle of the screen. Click it to carry on.

18. A big, orange ball will appear at the top of the screen with a hole in it. An arrow is right below it. Move your cursor to rotate the ball so that the hole is pointing towards the arrow. Once that's done, the key will drop from the hole. Click it to continue.

19. Right-click anywhere on the screen. You will see an option labeled "key!". Click it to move on.

20. A harder version of Level 10, this time the key is trapped inside a glass ball. Pull the rope until you can't pull it anymore, then let it drop. You will hear a glass shattering sound, indicating that you can grab the key now. Pull the rope and click the key, as usual.

21. Two orange balls, along with two arrays of 1×6 white bricks will appear. The arrays will be on the very left and right of the screen, and the two balls will be in the middle. Click and drag one ball to bump the other one. The other ball can destroy the bricks, but the one you're dragging cannot. Once all the bricks are cleared, the key will drop like usual. Click it to carry on.

22. A harder version of Level 9. This time there are still seven TVs, but arranged where three are stacked on top of each other, another three are stacked on top of each other, and the last one on top of all of them. It's the same reaction game as Level 9, except if you're not fast enough, the ones you've clicked already will disappear.

23. A harder version of Level 5, this time with three layers instead of two and the key this time is on the left most part of the shelf instead of the right most part of the shelf.

24. A harder version of Level 15, this time with four penguins instead of two and the orange line was duplicated and flipped to make another path. If you mess up here the puzzle resets!

25. This is the final level, and possibly the hardest one yet. There are four paddles that you can move just like in Levels 6 and 13, but two of them are on the y axis and the other two are on the x axis. A counter will be displayed in the middle of the screen. If the ball hits another paddle, the counter decrements by one. Keep repeating this until it reaches zero. If you mess up here, the counter reverts back to 99! (NOTE: Your cursor actually vanishes here. Be careful!)
