Color Link-a-Pix Light Vol 1 is a grid coloring puzzle game. The game is played by creating links between a number on the grid and another number of the same value and the same color. To create a link, click a number and drag your mouse. The length of the path should be the same number of squares as the value of the number. The goal is connect all numbers to their counterparts.
This game has 3 levels, each containing 10 puzzles of 10x10, 15x15 or 20x20 grids respectively, where most squares contain numbers. Except for the squares containing the number 1, all of the other numbers belong to a pair, where their number represents the numbers of squares taken to link the pair together. You have to link up all the pairs to form a picture.
Start with the smaller numbers first. Click all the 1s, then link all the 2s, then start at a place where you feel is easier to start filling in the pairs and work outwards from there. When stuck, you can move on to a different portion of the grid and start working from there. Remember that all the grids can be filled in by thinking logically, without guesswork, although it may take a bit of practice to recognise some of the common patterns formed, especially by the smaller numbers. For example, when there are two 4s beside each other and no other 4s that can connect to them, they are linked to form a square.
