3 Slices is a simplistic physics puzzle game in which you have three slices to remove as much of the red blocks as possible from the screen. It was developed by TheGameHomepage (Gaz Thomas). It utilizes code by Emanuele Feronato.
The objective is to drop as much of the red blocks into the endless pit as possible and the player has three slices to do it in the normal mode. There are white blocks in some puzzles that do not affect your score, and the player must reach a certain percentage of red block matter dropped to pass each level. There is a total of 20 levels, each of them adding up to 100% to your total score. Reaching a certain threshold gives the player a gold rating on that level. Pressing R resets the current level and there is a "Clear progress" button in the main menu.
- The developer's website allows people to publish 3 Slices in their own website. To do this, click here.
- It is possible to get a 100% score in Level 18, even if the player leaves a tiny amount of red in the screen.
- In order to unlock the 2-slice mode, the player needs to achieve a total of 1900% in the normal mode, out of a theoretical possible total of 2000%.
- Achieving a gold rating on all 2-slice mode levels is not enough to reach the 1875% needed for the Hard badge.
Target requirements to pass the level only applies to the 3-slices (3S) mode. Requirements for a gold rating differ in some cases between 3S mode and 2S mode. A walkthrough can be found here.
